Hey guys,
I decided to follow through with my plan of reorganizing some videos on the site. I wanted to make certain types of spots and dynamics easier to find within the site, so instead of "Hand History Reviews" for PLO videos I have instead decided to separate the videos into 3 categories. Those categories are "Single Raised Pots", "3 Bet and 4 Bet Pots" and "Multiway Action". Those videos are accessible if you have at least a Silver Membership and I believe they will make the learning process much more efficient. Hope everyone is holding up okay during this tougher time in our lives and I believe this site will help you right now whether you are trying to play low to mid stakes online or prepping to return to the live scene soon!
Thank you,
Nick
Hey guys,
Another quick update; I have added a NLHE preflop course as well as a PLO preflop charts section to the site.
As of 5/3/2020, the PLO preflop charts section contains a PDF viewer for open raising ranges from UTG-BU for 100bb PLO pertaining to live low stakes or microstakes online. A couple of tips regarding that chart:
Don't overwhelm yourself by studying more than one position at a time and for that matter it will be most efficient to likely only study one type of category of hand at a time (broadway pairs or double suited ace high hands for example).
If you see a hand that looks something like "A8s84" all that means is that the "s" after the 8 means suited to the 8 and not the ace. So, A8s84 would be a single suited A884 without a nut suit (Ah8d8s4d). Any combo without the "s" though just means a nut suit if it isn't a rainbow combo.
Tighten up your ranges in the first 3 positions in 9 handed live games and tighten up in general if you are consistently seeing 5-6 handed flops. Focus on nuttiness in the form of double suitedness, connectedness, high ranking cards/pairs. Avoid rainbow combos more often than what the charts suggest as another strong adjustment.
I will be adding 30bb PLO charts within the next couple of weeks and likely will have 50bb as well to account for situations where shorter stacks are relevant.
The site is continuing to grow and I look forward to providing more content to you guys!
Thank you,
Nick
